Customer and Community Engagement Officer – Employment (Fixed Term Contract)
We are looking for an exceptional Customer & Community Engagement Employment Officer to lead on developing our employment offer to residents. You will be a key member of our team responsible for delivering high quality advice and guidance that helps residents to ultimately gain employment. This is a fixed term contract until March 2020.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to build and maintain trust with all residents including hard to reach groups “locked out” of the labor market. You must be organised and methodical and have managed a complex case load.
Each resident has an individual action plans, so you need to be confident at setting achievable goals to support them into employment and/or training.
The role also requires you to develop and maintain partnerships across several sectors to create employment or work experience opportunities.
The successful candidate will be managing various employment projects and have experience in managing digital inclusion programmes and getting individuals online.
If you have the experience to deliver targets and get residents on the pathway to employment, then you are the person we are looking for.
This role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a car as travel throughout the region is required.
