We strive to provide creative high-quality services that meet our core values of excellence, care and innovation through person-centred care and exceptional leadership.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Performance Manager to join the department and make a real difference in shaping the future of our care and support services.

The key deliverables of this newly-created, varied role will include the design and implementation of performance tools and frameworks to support continuous development, regulatory obligations and the delivery of Estuary’s new care and support strategy, also monitoring contractual agreements/SLAs to ensure financial viability.

You’ll improve our services using feedback and data, ensuring the people we support and their families/advocates are involved and consulted whilst keeping abreast of best practice and legislative changes within the sector. You will be involved in developing policy and continuously reviewing business and income streams to create new opportunities and growth areas.   Collaborating with colleagues from across the organisation, you’ll also be leading and managing performance in important areas such as our agency framework and tenancy management / allocations, ensuring action is taken to maximise receivable income and manage voids.

You’ll line manage a small team of staff, supporting their ongoing development and coaching them to achieve their objectives. As a key ambassador for our Care & Support brand, you’ll also prepare and deliver reports, proposals, presentations and key performance indicators as required.

We’re looking for an experienced management professional with a solid understanding of both the challenges and opportunities facing the care and support sector. It goes without saying that you’ll have strong commercial focus with the ability to identify new business opportunities, also managing multiple contracts and performance frameworks to maximise income and drive service improvements. You’ll embody Estuary’s core values of excellence, care and innovation, demonstrating the ability inspire and motivate those around you and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

You’ll need to be able to work flexibly to participate in an on-call rota and work additional hours as required.   Access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence are also essential as you’ll be travelling to our services across Essex on a regular basis.

The closing date for applications is midday on Friday 27th March 2020.
