Vacancy Description

We’re currently looking for Bank Community Support Assistants to work flexibly to provide support to our service users in the Maldon and Castle Point areas.

We offer individual, tailored assistance to enable adults with learning disabilities in their own homes to maximise their independence and have greater inclusion in the community.

As a CQC Registered Care Provider, we are looking for experienced Bank Community Support Assistants who are both committed and self-motivated.

If you have a caring nature, the ability to undertake flexible hours, a positive attitude and have an interest in working to make a valuable contribution to people’s lives, we would be interested in hearing from you. Access to a car is also highly desirable.

In return you will be offered a competitive rate of pay, mandatory and specialised training as well as ongoing supervision and support.

This advertisement is part of an ongoing recruitment campaign within Estuary Housing Association’s Supported Housing & Care team.

The vacancy will remain open until all posts have been filled; however, applications will be reviewed and shortlisted on a fortnightly basis.

Safeguarding & Recruitment

Estuary is committed to safeguarding and practices safer recruitment standards and expects all staff to share the commitment to safeguarding children and people with care and support needs. The successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK. These posts are also subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS checks.

Equality & Diversity

At Estuary Housing Association we are committed to embedding equality and diversity at the heart of our work. We aim to be an inclusive organisation, where individual differences are respected, where staff, people who use services, as well as their families and carers, are treated with dignity and on the basis of their merits, abilities and needs, and where everyone has a fair opportunity to fulfil their potential without suffering discrimination or disadvantage

Please note that successful candidates will be required to pay for their own DBS checks, and are not paid for attending mandatory training.
